Plants
Live aquarium plants grown in my own tanks — never imported, never treated with the pesticides that wipe out a shrimp colony.
These are the workhorse species: guppy grass and frogbit to pull nitrates and shade the tank, java moss for fry cover and biofilm, and anubias nana for a hardy foreground that needs no CO2 and almost no light.
Plants ship in a moisture-retaining bubble mailer. Minor melting in transit is normal — trim the damaged leaves and they bounce back fast.
