FreshwaterFinds is a one-person operation, not an importer. 99% of the fish you see here were spawned and raised in my own tanks — which means they arrive already eating prepared foods and already adapted to normal tap water. No RO system, no quarantine gamble, no month of watching wild-caught fish refuse to eat.
How shipping works
1. I pack early in the week. Fish are fasted 24–48 hours so the water stays clean in transit, then individually bagged, double-bagged with 100% oxygen, and boxed in insulated foam with a heat or cold pack as the weather requires.
2. It ships overnight. Choose Next Day Air for the full live arrival guarantee. Slower services carry a real risk of delay, and I can't guarantee livestock on them.
3. You're covered on arrival. If anything is wrong, send photos within 2 hours of delivery and I'll make it right.
